Our facilities

VEMS Kapuskhed Naka, Islampur offers wide choice of activities in and out of the school. We have excellent facilities to support the learning process. These facilities include well ventilated classrooms, well equipped library, science laboratories, updated computer lab and sports ground for students and digital classrooms. We have facility of separate toilet blocks for boys and girls and purified drinking water facility. We have security guards for 24 hours. The school campus is fenced properly. Display of a house boards, one notice board, music system and musical instruments along with four mikes are available. All sports facilities and digital classrooms are available in our school.

Qualified teachers

Our teachers are qualified and experienced. They attend the courses and workshops. Our students appear for different exams. Our teachers take hard efforts for their progress and success. There is a team spirit among all the employees. They dedicate their time for moulding the individual character of the student. They love their home no doubt, but more than that they love their school as they remain in the school a lot of time.

Library

VEMS Kapuskhed Naka, Islampur has an excellent Library facility. We have 547 books available in our library. There are reference books for teachers as well as students. We have novels, biographic books, story books, poetry, drama, historical, geographical, scientific, grammar, encyclopedia, dictionaries, periodicals, newspapers etc. are available. Thus the students are encouraged to cultivate their reading habits. They are inspired to read books and increase their knowledge.

Music

Our VEMS is interested in music also. Indians are lovers of music. They know the importance of music in their life. It is a part of our life. Scientifically, it is proved that plants and crops grow faster, cows give more milk. Even critical operations have been done successfully because of music. Without music our life has no value. Music touches our hearts and gives us mental satisfaction. It also keeps our worries away.

It develops the students’ skill and increases the ability of participating in cultural activities. It gives great joy in their life. Students now can avail the facility of learning music in school itself. We have variety of instruments like harmonium, Tabla, Dholak, Tripal, Drum, Casio etc.

Computer lab

It is an Age of computer. It gives us information very fast because of the modern technology. Our school provides this facility to every student. There are 15 Personal Computers in our computer lab. Students are using this facility with interest zeal and joy. Our computer teachers everyday give them new kind of knowledge. They updated and fulfil the student’s thirst of advanced knowledge.

Science lab

It is an age of science. Science has created many wonderful things in human life to satisfy the thirst of the students. We have to give them an opportunity of doing a practical work. So we need a science lab.

The school has well equipped composite laboratory (Physics, Chemistry & Biology). Students are encouraged to use these laboratories to learn through experiences. Science lab develops practical skills, increases understanding & the creativity of the students.

Science lab equipment allows students to interact directly with the data gathered. They get a first hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. The science lab equipment and supplies make teaching and learning easy for the teachers & the students.
